Connell Academy in Costa Rica was founded as a means to share our educational philosophy with children and young adults in a positive manner of renewal, where they are viewed as integral members of society. Our focus is based on respecting their abilities and nurturing a learning process that will develop students who are safe, proactive, inquisitive, creative, bilingual, and well-prepared for life.

Connell Academy introduced Model United Nations to our 7th and 8th-grade students in 2017 by educating and encouraging students to attend MUNs in other schools here in Costa Rica. The school, since then, has been very involved in the MUN community, attending numerous conferences and, thanks to finally having the required experience, we've decided to host our own MUN.
